In this week's Editor's Pick, Jayaraj Rajagopal and colleagues, describe their findings studying the ability of mouse airway epithelia to dedifferentiate and contribute stem cells for the adult airway. This study may be part of a more generalizable mechanism whereby differentiated cells may dedifferentiate and contribute to the regenerative ability of different organs.
